Apply for a Pell Grant. You may not be eligible but it's worth a shot!

Aw! I wish from the bottom of my heart that I could help. I'm thinking one day too I'll be in the same situation trying to go back to school, so I feel your pain. Us single mothers deserve a scholarship for that reason alone!! Good luck hon!
good luck, thats really a tough thing to do, esp with no financial help. try applying for scholarships based on your major, based on anything about you (ethnicity, religion, etc.) ok it didnt work for me, and FAFSA wont help me either. try fastweb.com, thats the only one i can think off of the top of my head! start writing poetry for those poetry contests lol (find out if they are legit and stuff first..)

Apply for a MENSA scholarship. That's what I'm going to do.
Apply for a parent plus loan in your financial aid office at school and then if they deny you they have to give you a loan for $4000.00
Go to your bank and explain the situation, or take out a chase educational loan. I cannot afford to pay your way. I wish I could, but I am a college student myself and I have a major bill to pay back as it is. I also owe the hospital 14,000 dollars. Sorry, I have no money to spare.
well I don't have any xtra money but I start this Fall in the L.P.N. program and if you are interested I would give you my books, uniforms and supplies next Fall after I am done if you are interested. SERIOUSLY! I apologize for the rudenes of some of the above! Well I totally commend you for your efforts and it will pay off. i am 28, married and have a 4 and a 9 year old. Being single and the only source of income would be hard. Keep your head up and GO FOR IT!
