Question:
I have a heart condition which has affected me greatly during my first semester in college and I would be behind one semester if I had not switched engineering fields.
Does it look bad if you don't do an internship before graduating college? I am taking classes during this summer and next summer so that I can graduate with the class of 2009 but all of my friends have internships during the summer that pay $10,000+.
I feel if I don't do an internship, those who compete with me for jobs after graduating will have an advantage. Any advice would help and thank you.
Answer:
most degrees require an inetrnship...and they are also used as work experience...i dont think it is bad...why give your time for free when you can get paid...all employers want to see is some experience
