Question:
Answer:
Junipero think is good idea go Marines before college . . . why?
If go before, go Iraq, get killed . . . no need go college.
If go before, go Iraq, no get killed . . . government pay for you go college.
If go after, go Iraq, get killed . . . is waste of college.
If go after, go Iraq, no get killed . . . is miracle.
you should go to the marines first, i've acquired some knowledge about them...and they all seem beneficial
What are your goals? What is your financial situation? Maybe you should talk to a recruiter.
Neither one. You don't want to die in WWIII do you? Flee while you still have a chance. Run from those that seek to make you their cannon fodder.
Get them to pay for college. College costs to much and you can always work towards being an officer during your time in the there.
U CAN STUDY IN THE MARINES TOO.
LIKE A SCHOOL WHILE UR SERVING THE COUNTRY
after that way you go in as an officer not a grunt
After, because if you want to get a good eduaction you should then go to marines then if you ever come out you could easily get a job
GET A STUDENT LOAN . BETTER THAN DIEING
You should not go in the Marines. I was in there, they are not what they pretend to be, they dont care about you as a person and fight for evil causes. They will soon be gone.
Go now while you are still young and ignorant. Once you have an education you will not want to waste you life by going to Iraq and getting killed in an illegal and immoral war.
My sympathies to your parents. Imagine how they will feel when the officer comes to their door to tell them you are dead. Or, if you survive I feel sorry for you because you might be maimed. Of course you might have such an extensive brain injury that you won't even know you are missing your arms and/or legs.
all depends when you want to see action, iraq his are killing fields, all nations come to play, also if your dead before college it wont mader , but its up to you since there's no draft, do want you want to
realize that going first is the only way to pay for the second. Now here's the trick.realize that you won't be the same person after all those experiences...trust me. Not always so simple.
Go to the marines. Free education and you can still become an officer later. My husband is in the Army and they have a $20,000 student loan repayment program. I'm sure the Marines does too. So if you do go to college first be sure to look into that! Good luck!
School first and ROTC helps pay for college. After college, you have tour of duty with a butter bar on each lapel, then who knows.
Semper Fi
If you want to be all that you can be, go to college first. Sorry about using an army slogan to make my point, but the fact is, the more you know, and the smarter you become, the greater value you will be to the Marine Corps.
the smart thing would be to go in after college. unless you want to put up with alot of bs the first couple of years until you get more rank.
First, look at your goals. What is it you want to gain out of your time in the military? Have you considered other branches, such as the Army or Coast Guard? Being an officer seems to have its advantages, but do you feel like it's something you'd be interested in or is there a skill you'd like to learn? Definitely talk to a recruiter from any branch you are considering to get more information and your questions answered. Good Luck!!
