New Business employing a school or college leaver?


Question:
i have just started a new business in shropshire uk

i wish to employ a school or college leaver in a admin/reception capacity is there any funding for creating employment or can the goverment pay their wages like the old YTS program i used to be on 15 years ago and pay for there college one day a week

Depending on the economic area you live in this may be a very viable way of employing someone.
I would suggest phoning the local council and speaking to their business development department to ask their advice.
It may also be worth speaking to someone from your local business link office as they may have details of any such schemes in your area http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/act...
