Do I have to be currently enrolled in college to be an undergrad?

Question:
I'm trying to go to college, and most of the scholarships I find are for undergrads.

I know an undergraduate is someone who hasn't recieved their bachlors degree, but that's all I know. I'm going to sign up for fall classes, but I want to have funding before I sign up so I don't have to worry that I wont have the money in time (I need to pay BEFORE my classes start).

How can I get a scholarship before I actually sign up for college when the only thing I can find is for "undergraduates"?

Answer:
As soon as you are accepted to a college and enroll you are an undergrad. The way scholarships work is that you don't get the money until after they have confirmed enrollment. So enroll first, you'll still get the money in time to pay for class if you get the scholarship. If not, most colleges let you drop classes for a full refund by a certain date.
