Question:
My daughter has been accepted to a major university.I receive social security disability benefits and i work part-time.Her mother works full-time.Is there a special grant or scholarship that will assist my daughter with her tuition with one disable parent? What sources do i go to,to find out about this?
Answer:
Go to www.fasa.gov - also, contact the college financial aid office, they have all forms and advisors to help your daughter. I know that there will be special grants for this, I went to college myself with a similar situation. There are also many scholarships that the school has a list of that are needy based.
Good luck.
