"Why is receiving a scholarship for college important?"?
Question:
Answer:
So you wont have to pay as much of college tuition out of your pocket. Were talking about a range around 20,000-40,000 a year. The more scholarships and grant you get, the less you have to pay in loans and in cash.
Its important because then you cont have to pay as much, or in some cases any money.
I graduated with 2 scholarships (tennis and academic). I have only $3 thousand in debt and that is NOTHING compared to the average student who graduates with about $40 thousand in debt.
Now I can get more loans for my Masters which is what counts today since the work field is very competitive.
Remember that it also looks good to have scholarships when you write your resume since scholarships are "AWARDS" to those that really deserve it.
