Can I get a scholarship for a summer program(Stanford session)?
Question:
Their summer program seems like the ultimate summer experience- intellectually based (wanted to take US foreign policy), develops interests (like public speaking, writing), and has classes to pursue artistic abilities (was really looking forward to piano).
I did get a $500 scholarship from them- but this is not enough.
My parents make (several thousand) less than $20,000 per year, my parents are immigrants, and I will be the first in my family to ever attend a college.
From such a background, this summer session appears to be an opportunity of a lifetime- and (unlike my family) I do not want to lose any opportunities...
Are there any scholarships available, people I can contact, etc?

heyy i got accepted too! so i got $1000 scholarship i really needed more money. so i called and asked if they were by any chance giving out anymore funds. i managed to squeeze out a few hundred more dollars but that was it. if you call and have some convincing reason, im sure theyll give you something. they told me that if i had submitted earlier and gotten accepted earlier, i could have received much more by calling in. :/ im still looking around, and i'll let you know if i find anything.
Apply to FASFA. Find out more about his, you may be able to qualify for a Grant, which you don't have to pay back.
