Who in here has gone to college with scholorships?
Question:
Answer:
If you want to get a scholarship, you're going to have to learn how to spell "scholarship." It's not the kind of word that you want to make a mistake on in your application.
There's a lot of money available to qualified students who want to go to college. Speak with your guidance counselor at school; he or she should be able to put you in touch with good sources of information. Also, when you get into college the financial aid office there will be able to help you.
I know it sounds like I was giving you a hard time about the spelling, but you need to present yourself in the best possible light if you want to take advantage of the opportunities for learning. You'll need to show that you're serious and conscientious when you express yourself in writing.
Remember: there's an added, not a diminished, responsibility when someone else's money pays for you to go to college. You need to prove that they - whether it's a private organization or the U.S. taxpayers - have made a wise investment in trusting you with the money.
Good luck.
I got a transfer scholarship from the school, but you can get ones from Target, there's Rotary scholarship, sometimes your elementary school or middle school has some, you can check out grants, too. the university website usually has some scholarships or they even have a financial aid office where you can find out about scholarships
I did. But I also worked, mainly by editing and typing other people's assignments - in days before computers. I found that if I could do work connected to my studies that really helped. Consider tutoring - it can be quite lucrative.
