Financial Assistance for college?
Question:
Answer:
Start with (www. fafsa.ed.gov) to apply for federal grants such as Pell...I get over $4000 a year...check into state grants...contact the college that you want to attend to see if they offer scholarships and/or grants. I also get a grant that is federal that is called SEOG grant...I think it is because I went back to school as a non-traditional student(I'm 42, was 39 when I started this degree). I receive a state grant of $2500 a year...basically when most people are dreading paying for the semester...I'm waiting for my check because I get more in grants and scholarships than what a semester costs! If you want more information you can contact me...I"m happy to help!...Good luck
The following websites contain scholarships and grants for all kinds of students. A book recommends visiting them at least twice because they have a hidden search engine which will display more results for smaller ($1000 or less) ones after the first visit.
