Question:
I am applying to various colleges and my worst fear is that i get turned down to all of them, with the colleges and their low acceptance rates. I have to go to college! I cant even stand for waitlist. Plus, I need scholarship money too, that may be another turn off, plus my 1440 SAT score, the highest yet is no match for this guy who got a perfect 2400. I just need an encouragement and hopes that I get into college, if i dont then its the end of the world for me! HELP!!!

1440 is an awesome score for your SAT. I doubt you'll get turned down by all of them. I scored 1384 on my SAT and was pretty much good to go wherever I wanted and I also got scholarships. Also, if you can't get them your first year, many schools offer them based on your current GPA, as opposed to your high school stuff.

1440 should be good enough to get you into many places. I wouldn't count on any of the big ones but still a well respected university. And have no fear, at worse case, thereas alway community college!
