ROTC or AFROTC?

Question:

Next year (Junior Year in High School) ..Im going to apply for a scholarship for ROTC or AFROTC, I want to come out a Military Police Officer (Army) or a Security Force Officer (AF)..And im just wondering which would be easier to get a scholarship for college..ROTC or AFROTC?

actually, what you're referring to is AROTC and AFROTC. right now due to force shaping for the air force (ie, trying to cut back on people) it's easier to get into the army and therefore probably less competitive in getting a scholarship as well. HOWEVER, the air force presents better options to its people and officers. If i were you I would apply for both and then take Air Force if you get it.

The answer will depend upon the college you chose and the grades you make in school. Even then, from my experience, ROTC scholarships don't necessarily kick in the first year. In my college they came in your Junior year.

As far as ROTC or AFROTC, just pick what your comfortable with. Opportunities aren't going to change.
