Question:
the scholarship came from the government of another state people from the education dept there called the univ. and tried to get the money to them, they wouldnt speak to them.
the Univ. was supposed to send a invoice stating that i was a student and the amount electronically through a electronic verification chart and the school wouldnt do that, the claimed that didnt know what it was. even though the state im from had there info in the system as a school that accepts it.
I tried everything i could to get them the money, i followed everything, they didn't when i went one department there the sent me to another department and they sent me back to the first that went on for about 10 months and then i gave up
Answer:
You could try. My question is why did you allow yourself to acculmulate so much debt. I mean, yeah, you were granted free money from a different state, however, you should have taking out a loan until the manner was cleared up. Also, why now after all the charges were added onto the balance do you want to seek legal action. Not only will you have to contend with the university, but the collector as well.
go ahead and sue because Jackson State should have followed thru and didn't
Id say go for it, but you might end up spending more than you owe, then if you win you have to pay and if you lose you have to pay double
risky buisiness
