Do all colleges accept disability tuition waivers?

Question:
I am 22 and disabled but I want to go to college and my parents make to much for pell grants but they can't afford college for me.I read online that if you are on SSI you can get a tuition waiver for schooling but I don't know if all schools apply or even how going about finding out. Can someone help me out? Are there any scholarships for the disabled ? Anything any one knows that might help me please let me know!

Answer:
If you know the colleges that interest you, call the financial aid offices of those schools. Since each school is different, this is the best way to determine if you are eligible for aid from a particular school.

At 22, your parent's income should not have an effect on your Pell. As for you school accepting it, each school has their own policy, you'll have to ask the finance dept at the school. They can also direct you to scholarships.

I have some very good websites for scholarships, I can't put my hands on them right now. If you will email me, I'll keep up the search and send them to you when I find them. Meantime, check these out:
