How am I supposed to pay for college if I can't get approved for a loan?
Question:
Answer:
Could you beg your parents to pay any of the college expenses? It might not be so bad if you are going to a state school.
Financial aid does offer loans with low interest rates. To make sure you get your financial aid, you have to make sure you get in all your papers on time, or better yet, as soon as you get all the information you need to send to FAFSA. If you don't turn in FAFSA quickly enough, other people will be getting the financial aid, which won't leave much left for you.
To make college cheaper, some colleges accept CLEP tests, which offer course credit for a wide variety of subjects. They are only $55 per test, and you might get 3 hours credit or more for each one at some places. This is cheaper than tuition, and depending on how many credits you get, you might cut down on the amount of time at college. Which could save thousands, potentially, since it would be less time you would have to pay tuition and rent. You would have to self-study some, but if you knew a subject well, you could just go take the test without studying and get a credit.
Other options: Community college. Also, the Army/U.S. Military can pay for your college tuition and some other costs if you become a reserve.
See if your state offers a grant for schooling.

JOIN the service for four years.then get four years of college free. AIRFORCE would be my first choice.
a lot of people have this problem, you could take out an emergency loan, and you might have to work more than one job, and kiss any personal life goodbye, i don't mean this to sound gloomy, but for alot of people paying for college is hard and requires a lot of sacrifice.
also don't vote republican, they just cut financial aid by billions.

Get another job. Don't be lazy. There are plenty of people that work multiple jobs to put themselves through college. Or better yet, get a job at a company that pays for their employees to go to college. There are plenty of them out there. Or...get a roommate to share your rent and cut costs at home. There's lots of options.just open your eyes.and turn on your brain...and think a little. Geesch.

have u tried for financial aide ?
First, keep appling for scholarships. Have you applied for federal aid (FAFSA)?
You have to talk to your college financial office and ask for the financial aid appeal form or something like that. This form will allow you to ask the financial aid department to consider you and give you more aid. You can also write a formal letter to your school, the financial aid office, and describe your financial situation. They will considered your case and just have to wait for their decision.
I hope this is helpful.
