Two computer questions?

Question:

Is Bufferzone Security for P2p file sharing good to download? My friend complained it made his p2p programs not work. He uses limewire, but I use Ares. Will it affect me 2? Also, I've had virus/spyware problems in the past, so I've downloaded PC Tools Firewall Plus, AVG antivirus, Ad- Aware SE and McAfee site advisor. Is that good enough? If, not please suggest what more should I do to keep my computer safe.

to be safe, dont use p2p programs.

part answer - i have been using spybot search and destroy for years - and works great. i believe you can do a search at pcworld.com and it will come up with a download for it.

I have McAfee, Ad-Aware, Spyware Blaster and Spybot. They work great. I have Zone Alarm, and it is a good firewall that you should be able to find if you search for it. I have been told that the McAfee Security Suite is very good too, beacuase it coes with everything.

As for Bufferzone, i have never used it. But you should be alright with what you have, and it would help more if you went and got Spybot or Blaster.

i do not no if it is a good thing to download. but what i can tell you is that avast home addition (it's a antivirus software ) has a p2p shield so it scans every thing you download!! so wen you download a virus
it tells you right away, so you can delete it! and its also a really good antivirus! and its free!!

Ad- Aware SE is a really good antispyware so make sure you keep that!

im not sure how good PC Tools Firewall Plus is for a firewall, but zonealarm firewall stops all most every thing! and its free!!
