I am looking for a certificate program in becoming a chaplain. Do you know of any such programs?
Question:
Answer:
I am not sure but you do not not need to go into the army as a previous answer stated. A friend of mine was a chaplain in a hospital for a long time but she was also a United Methodist pastor. I am a United Methodist Lay Pastor. Have you ever thought of anything like that? There are classes to take and sermons to give and they they consecrate you in a special service. I think to be a chaplain though you must be a pastor. Feel free to contact me should you want to discuss further. beachgirl5628@yahoo.com

you can become ordained online as a Reverend
You can't, becase first you have to be a ordained minister and then go into the Armed Forces of the USA and serve a certain number of years.
