I'm interested in getting a master's in social work/social welfare...Any good suggestions for schools?

Question:
I have a few schools in mind already that I want to apply to, but I was hoping that I could get a few more ideas from other people. I don't want answers like go to princetonreview.com or go see your advisor..I already have and now I just want names of schools that have great programs that you might know about.

Answer:
Top school is George Warran Brown - Other top rated included, University of Penn, Michigan State, Columbia, NYU, University of WA, Berkley, University of Chicago.

Now in reality you probably want to consider what type of social work you want to practice (some schools are better in some areas than others). You might also consider where you want to live (often times your internships can turn into jobs). You might also consider how much you want to pay (state schools are much less than private ones).

You can find all accredited MSW programs at www.cswe.org.
