Mcfee site advisor doesnt work with explorer 7 beta 3, are there any alternatives?
Question:
Answer:
To IE 7 sure
Firefox is great: www.getfirefox.com
Opera isn't bad.
If you meant to Mcafee you just need to not use Beta software untill they get all the kinks ironed out. If you switched back to IE 6 and waited, Mcafee will probably release an update that will work. They just are not going to do it while it is still Beta because that is Microsoft telling everyone that they are not done making changes.
Seriously though. Do yourself a favor and try out Firefox.
Yes it does. Go to the site advisor down arrow and open the list. Select settings and then check the middle box. It will not work exactly the same as with IE 6 but it will highlight in the colors and warn of bad sites. The Icon at the end of each listing will not appear. Actually, I like that not happening cause the balloon was getting annoying.
