Question:
I have followed M'soft's recommendation (At least the miniscule help info within the program itself, and it still locks up. My computer is no slouch, but I need to know if it will run Vista, and Microsoft will not allow me to ask for advice.
I have tried running it in safe mode, but that doesn't help.
Can this be a portence of doom?

You might be running an older beta version of Upgrade Advisor. You should download the latest version from the Microsoft Site:
