I am intrested in becoming an insurance agent, I am a 20 year old husband, father, career oriented man who knows what he wants in life? I have bee in the insurance world of sales, claim reporting, bill pay, customer relationship management for two years. I want to be successful in life, I want more out of life!
Answer:
I don't think experience matters as much as knowledge and customer service. In reality the agent is nothing more than a sales person and thus I wouldn't expect anything more than knowledgeable help. This skill can be achieved with nil experience, and often times being new in the industry means you will know the recent changes and modern policies better than someone who has been around for along time.
