Question:
I have never had back problems and after a tiny auto accident I now have low to moderate pain and at times severe. They did an x-ray and say I have massive inflamation, ok then they do an MRI and now I am hearing that it appears that I have degeneration of the spine. Ok so now what? I have filed this on my auto insurance since I had no prior pain in my back till the accident. I am going through physical therapy 3 times a week. I am just scared this is going to get ugly with the insurance companys. auto/health. Any advice I would love to hear it.

I hate to say it but get a lawyer. Even with hiring a Lawyer, the insurance company will drag your case along for 2-3 years. Meanwhile your credit will go down the toilet because the medical people will not wait 2-3 years for payment. You are going to pull your hair out before this ever gets resolved. I wish I could say everything will turn out right but it is just not the case. I truly wish you luck and I will pray for you. May you have a speedy recovery.
