Auto insurance PIP claim HELP?

Question: I was in a small accident that at the time I thought I was fine until 3 days later I started to have pain in my back finally after 6 days I couldn't take it any more and whent to the E.R and later followed up with a Dr that did an MRI and says that he is seeing degeneration of the spine (HUH) I have never had back pain.

So with this info what is the auto insurance co going to say. This really has me upset.
