What to do if i was in an auto accident my fault i have no insurance?
Question:
Answer:
If there's another insurance company involved for the other vehicle, be prepared that they're going to come to you for repayment of any damages to the other car.
Your best bet is to call them, be up front, and ask them to work with you on a repayment schedule. Most companies are more than happy to do that because it saves them collection charges - and saves you a black mark on your credit report.
But, be aware, body work is super pricey. Average here in my area is 40-50/hr, a bumper job can run 400-800 and from there on up for a heavier impact. So unless it's a door ding, don't get taken aback by the costs. This will, of course, vary by area and vehicle damages.
When the other company calls, be up front and be willing to work with them. If there wasn't a police report, you may get lucky and not get charged for no insurance.
And please, get some insurance! I know it's expensive, but most companies can at least get you state minimums reasonably. Good luck.
Bribes are always good!
get ready to be sued and be prepared to pay. You may also face criminal charges.
Well if you do not have the money to pay everything the other persons Insurance company is going to be suing you to get thier money back.
