Your age, make and model and year of car. The type of insurance you want. Whether it be just liability or full coverage, all are factored into a quote. Best thing to do is call around and get some quotes. Good luck!!
A lot
It depends on the type of vehicle (sports car etc)
While you had a licence for 5 years it sounds like you never drove so they might consider you a first time driver. Age matters but you never had insurance so they don't know if you drove.
Where you live will be a factor (high crime vehicle theft etc)
Using for work is costlier (anything iver 12000 miles a year is more)
New vehicle old vehicle (the value of the car is a factor as well)
Did you ever take driver's education (with it would mean lower rates)
My best guess is somewhere in the area of $2200. but there are a lot of factors I don't know
Contact a good independent agent - Hopefully you have a tenants policy and I would start with that agent. It is impossible to give you a quote in this forum, there are just too many factors involved and each company is very different. Travellers used to write in NYC and they were a good company to work with.
Car insurance depends on a lot of things like age, gender, location, kind of car, and driving record. There is a site I've used where you can compare a bunch of different insurance companies to find out which one will give you the best price. Most of them will give you quotes online so you don't even have to talk to anyone if you don't want to.
