Do you live in Texas? is your car titled in Texas? If not - scroo them - don't pay it. what most states do is - if the vehicle is titled in their state is to attach a lien to the vehicle and whenever you sell it the computer will charge the ticket to you as it transfers. it is not a "moving violation" so it doesn't "go on your record" or affect your insurance and traffic school will not apply.
It probly won't affect your insurance but yeah it will be on your record, for a long time. My friend got 4,speeding, tickets in 3 months and it still hasn't affected his insurance and he's only 19! Although he had to pay the tickets out and take defensive driving.
It will stay on your record and as time passes it will go as an outstanding parking tickets if they are not payed. No, I dont think it will affect your insurance cost because it is not a moving violation.
Only moving violations, or violations due to an act of you driving, (speeding, DUI, running a red light, ect.) count on your record...
I would not take a course for something that is not a moving violation. Call your insurance company and they will tell you everything you need to know. In Jersey and Pa. they do not affect your insurance but I have never lived in Texas.
Parking tickets neither affect your license or insurance premiums. The exception being if you don't pay the tickets... but that is an entirely different matter. Send a check and put this behind you. hope this helps.
Don'y confuse a parking ticket with a moving vioation.
For a parking ticket, just pay it and you'll never hear about again.
A moving violation is what you do not want.
That will come back to haunt you.
