Recently I drive a car and get involved in an accident due to slippery road. The car belong to my nephew. When I check the insurance policy, my name is not in the authorize drive to be insured. The car is Wira 1.5. 2005.
Question is is there any penalty imposed on my and how much it will be.
Answer:
There is a penalty, RM400 (we called it excess in motor insurance policy in Malaysia). This is a regulation by Bank Negara Malaysia. All insurance companies have to follow.
