How important is the coverage for uninsured motorist property damage in case of Auto insurance?

Question:
Just thinking if I should include it into my policy.

Answer:
Well - if you have collision coverage - you don't need uninsured motorist property damage coverage. If you don't have collision - think of it i this way, it's an extra what, $50/year? something pretty cheap? If you get hit by an uninsured motorist your vehicle will be covered for up to the limit. Is it worth you minimal dollars per month to pay for the extra coverage in the case you get hit by an uninsured motorist? I think so. Just think of it this way, many more people than you think are uninusured, and if you don't have the coverage, your screwed - because you really have no outlet to pursue - except for small claims court, but you'd have to pay for it all first out of pocket - is it worth the hassle?
its very important, if you were to say run off the road and ran thru someones yard and into their house, without insurance you would be out alot of money and could possibly be sued.

I highly recommend it.
