Yep, call a couple local, independent agents, and they can each give you a half dozen quotes with different companies.
i would say AIG if you have been driving for more than 3 years. otherwise Allstate. AAA umm kind of good but they dont give discounts every six months as Allstate does.
I use AAA - switched to it about a year ago, they seem to have the best rates around here. I have full comprehensible on the vehicle we have now, my other insurance company charged me more for our other vehicle and we only had the minimum required by law.
