Is it possible to cancel an auto claim against someone?

Question:
a claim was made to my insurance, is it possible for them to cancel their claim against my insurance?

Answer:
You can't 'cancel' the claim thinking it will disappear. They can deny payment of the claim, they can withdraw their claim. However there will always be record of the claim.
Why would they cancel the claim. If you were at fault then your insurance has to pay. If no action is taken on behalf of the other party, then the claim will close after about 60 days, but will still be on your insurance record. Give more details, question is vague. Who made the claim; why did they make a claim; was it fraudulent. Be more specific.
no. once a claim is filed.. its filed. They may find you "not at fault" or they may "close without pay" the claim- meaning nothing was paid out. But its there...
