To my knowledge United Auto is a high risk insurance market and they have their pricing structure set up based on high risk drivers. If you do not fall into a high risk category, ie., you are over 25 with decent driving and credit history you could probably get better pricing elsewhere.
Having said that, I have not heard anything out of the ordinary about them as far as service and coverage options are concerned. If I were you I would visit a local insurance agent and have them take a look at your situation and provide you with different options.
