Car Insurance Question!?
Question:
And also, I went on the Geico site and I saw that you can add a vehicle to your policy just online. After I'm done with all the registration, will they just send the insurance card straight to my home with just a simple online registration??
Answer:
If you were on the Geico website then you also know you can find the answer to your question right there ON THEIR WEBSITE!!!
Your insurance depends on a number of things: your driving record, age, age you were licensed, credit, and your car. 231 seems like a lot for an older car. Try taking off coverage you don't need. Your car is ten years old; you might want to consider just having liability insurance on it. It is much cheaper. Or try raising your deductible on your policy to bring your rate down.
You can find rates anywhere online. Make sure you shop around. Many insurance companies give discounts for insuring multiple vechiles. Try esurance.com.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
Only your insurance can tell you with certainty how much it will go up. Generally it won't double because you will be getting a discount for having multiple cars on the policy. As to your card, they may allow you to print one out from the web page.
Why don't you call Geico and ask them? This isn't geico.com, and there are too many variables in quoting insurance coverage to be of any assistance to you here.
No doubt the easiest way to get insurance quotes is on the web.
Why would you waste your time on the phone calling around?
the last time i needed quotes on insurance i used one of these comparison sites and it was great.
this is the site i used and it was quick like less than 5 mins.
The last thing I want to do is listen to elevator music while waiting for a salesman.
Anyway I got good quotes and ended up saving money so I was happy.
So shop around and compare quotes which is easy on the net.
Good starting point is at this site.
