My friend does not have auto insurance, can he drive other people car?

Question:
my friend want to drive someone's else car, which the car owner does have insurance to cover 3rd party driver. However he does not have auto insurance himself. If there is an accident, will his license be suspended? Will he be responsible for anything else during the accident? Thanks

Answer:
The insurance on the vehicle will transfer to cover him in the event of an accident as long as he has the owner's permission and he has a valid Driver's License.

He cannot get his licensed suspended for operating the vehicle according to the law.

If there is an accident he can be pursued personally if the Liability Coverage on the car is not significant enough to cover all the costs associated with an at-fault accident.
No, as long as the other person that has insurance to cover the car that he is driving then he is legal.
MY ins policy only covers other drivers of my car IF they also have ins. Anyone who drives MY car has to show me their card first. Even/especially my son.
he can drive other people cars with out insurence or insured license i drive my brother and my mothers car all the time and i have no insurence and it only illegal to drive with out license when u get caught. he can drive his own car with out insurence in somestates and it not illegal til he get caught in his own car with out it.
