In Pennsylvania, can I rent a car if I don't have auto insurance?

Question:
And what happens if I get in an accident?
I dont know about Penn. but here in Michigan they wont let you. You can purchase insurance through the rental company. Maybe it is the same there. I dont know.
you most likely have to have auto insurance and in most places you also need to be at least 25 I think.
Yes, you can. The car rental place will make you purchase insurance to cover the vehicle during the time you are driving it though. I don't own a car, but I rent all the time when I have to go places for work. It works the same way in every state I have been to so far.
