2 auto's,same owner-diff.ins.compy;s who pay?damage car #2?

Question:
WIFE'S CAR HIT MY CAR IN DRIVEWAY- TWO INSURANCE COMPY"S-ONE A COMPANY CAR THE OTHER A PERSONNEL AUTO. SHOULD CAR #1 INSURANCE PAY ALL DAMAGES?

Answer:
Unless you live in a no fault state, where each insurance company would take care of the damages on the vehicle, the person at fault will bear the burden of paying for damages. If turned into the insurance, they may take some responsibility for payment also. In any case, the one at fault will pay any deductible.
Your wife's insurance should pay all damages.

Unless you were driving at the time. :P
Your wife's ins. co. should pay for the damages, but it will probably raise the premium so you might want to see if it is cheaper just to pay to have the car repaired vs. getting the points charged against the policy and raising your wifes premium.
