I want information on "schools" for learning about auto insurance?

Question:
where do you go to learn about auto insurance to sell it yourself?
how do you get licensed?

Answer:
There are a couple of recongnized insurance institutes that offer insurance courses to teach you about auto insurance.

They include:

The American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America at http://www.aicpcu.org/

They offer several courses related to personal insurance that includes auto insurance. You can go to their web site and look up specific courses and review the outline of what is covered related to auto insurance instruction.

Also, you can contact the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America at http://www.iiaba.net to inquire about auto insurance courses they may offer and what is required to apply for a license in your state.

Also, you could contact the Department of Insurance in your state to find out about licensing requirements and how you can take the licensing exam.

I hope that helps! Take care and best of luck to you!
go to www.iiaa.org. Find the organization for your state. They offer classes about insurance, and pre-licensing classes. They will walk you through the process of becoming an agent.
