Auto insurance claims shot my insurance premium?

Question:

Answer:
not necessarily true. if you've had insurance with the same company for a very long time, and just had one accident (especially where you were found not at fault), it may not affect your rates. your agent can best tell you if you're rates would be effected. also, depends on the company, some companies drop after one accident, some are more forgiving. it's all about hearing the word on the street about companies as far as that goes...
yeah any claim you make will most likely raise the rates...
