Question:
My husband and I are planning on getting a new car and we're looking through auto-trader.com and finding a lot of good cars but is there a website you can go to to calculate how much the insurance of each car to help us narrow our decision down?
Answer:
most large insurance companies, have a website that will give you a quote/estimate on a prospective car purchase.
Its designed to assist you, so you know if you will be able to afford the insurance on the vehicle prior to purchasing it.
geico.com, progressive.com, statefarm.com
If you currently have insurance just call your agent...it just takes a few seconds for them to prepare an accurate quote for you.
If not, then I'd try one of those websites.
