NJ auto insurance (NJCURE), anyone ever have any problems with them?

Question:
The new insurance offered to NJ (because our rates are the highest in the nation), anyone ever use them or have any problems with them? Any advice I would appreciate.

Answer:
NJ Cure isn't as popular as GEICO, NJM (New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Group) or State Farm. NJM carries the largest policies in force for the state of New Jersey.

When choosing your insurance company, you want to know reliability, in terms of claims service and policy changes and then compare it to your premium. New Jersey is #1 in terms of highest insurance rates next to Colorado, so you want to get your best buck for your dollar.

I don't reside in NJ, but I quite often deal with New Jersey Cure. If I am correct, it is a subsidairy of Liberty Mutual. Liberty Mutual owns about 20 smaller insurance companies throughout the nation, NJCURE being one of them. Liberty Mutual is in the top ten for policies in force throughout the country.

One thing you may want to consider though, is finding an insurance company with 24-hour claim service as most adjusters like myself only work 8-4:30 M-F, and if your work schedule is like ours, you will have a hard time resolving your claim.
