WHO is at fault?

Question:
ok. my bank called me and told me an odd transaction was coming through and ask if i wanted to stop payment

it was my auto insurance, and the charge was $100. more than my usual payment... AND... i just paid that bill last week

my auto insurance provider SWEARS that they didn't charge that

my bank SWEARS that they did

so i did a charge back, which cost me $27.50. but one of these companys owes me this money back... which is it?

Answer:
Ahoy! It be this Captains opinion, that the scurvy-dogs at your insurance company should be made to walk the plank for their attempted plunder o' ye booty! ARRRR!
The insurance company should be investigated.
Insurance company for sure, you should be happy the bank actually called you or it would have been too late.
I would get a copy of the charge back and the original transaction from the bank and show it to your insurance rep and demand credit back!
now honey, don't go trying to make these here good folks think y'all actually have car insurance up there in KY!...get em C'apn!
