I was a passenger in a car accident and my laptop was broken. Would the drivers insurance cover it? Even if it was liability, it should still have to cover it right? He says the insurance says no because I wasn't injured... That doesn't make any sense.
PL and PD. The PD part of that is property damage. If you had property damaged as the direct result of his actions, you should be compensated. Call the insurance yourself and ask. If they tell you no, ask your friend to cover it and get compensated by his insurance for it.
