Please please please help!! PLEASE!?

Question:
To make a long story short, I tried to get my credit report information online from annualcreditreport.com, and it asked those personal questions confirming who you are. It asked what company i took a mortgage loan from in 1998, and what year i did, as well as an auto loan in 2002! I have NO idea where these came from. I was 10 in 1998! Theres no way i could have done that! And now my information is frozen. Therefore, I CANNOT get a report of my credit AND I havent even seen it yet! (because its frozen) I put a fraud alert on my account by calling Experian, but there were no live people to talk to, so i couldnt get help. i dont know what to do. I'm 19, my parents wont help me im completely lost, please help!!

Answer:
Did this happen on all three bureaus? Also you can still get a copy of your reports, you just have to do it the old fashioned way. Request it through the mail. This is the only legal way to get a copy of your credit reports from the credit bureaus. Even your bank cannot give you a copy. But they may discuss it with you.
Go to freecreditreport.com
Hon there was not necessarily a need for a fraud alert!

I had this and my friend. They sometimes make up fake companies or something that you never were with to test your identity, it had my friend calling family and eveyrthing to see who could have done it to his credit.

Now if there was no option for "None at all" or "None of the above" then there may a mortgage loan or auto loan out which would have been illegal for whoever did it.
Sounds like credit fraud.
i'd go to a police station. print out whatever you did get, if anything, and bring it with you.
Call all three of the credit reporting agencies.Thoese might of been trick questions I get the same thing when I log on.
i just did that yestarday and it asked me the same questions and i thought well dang, i have never bought a new car. it is a trick question. there shoud have been a "none of these match" option and that is the right one to choose because none of them match because you didn't have a car then. hope that helps. i don't know how to unfreeze your credit though. good luck!
go to your bank and tell them. they should help you get a copy of your credit report. if not. call all three big credit reporting agencies. try your best to get through to a person at one of them and clear it up, as someone else said, it could have been a fake question... was "none of the above" an option?? good luck.

When " it " asks you the questions -there is an answer of "none of the above"-I think you messed yourself up by putting a fraud alert on your account. You may not be able to get a report elsewhere either b/c of that.
The same thing happened to me and I selected none or none of the above whichever and it was still the wrong answer. You have to CALL & CALL & CALL again to get a live person, but you also have to convince them that you're you.
If you went to all three credit bureaus then you need to call. If you only contacted one then contact a different one if the second company gives you the same problem. Calling is the only option because you need explanation. Getting hold of someone is hard but possible. Putting a fraud alert to me was a good idea until you settle this but those alerts last for years and can be inconvienent when applying for credit in the future (trust me I know) CALL them and explain the situation
Did you try and get all three reports from the seperate bureau's? If you only tried experian log on to annualcreditreport.com again and try transunion or equifax. Answer the questions honestly - they almost always ask about a vehicle or mortgage loan - just answer the option that includes "none" -- you probably don't have much of a credit file anyway if you're only 19.
advait0 is right.

Yes it's a pain. But you can get your credit reports. You will just have to follow the instructions that Annualcreditreport.com gave you.

Send a letter to each credit bureau, send them the proof they are requesting (drivers license, other proof) and you will get it.

They have to ask all those questions. If someone had your SS# they could easily pull up tons of info on you from your credit reports.
