Direct Deposit?

Question:

We filed on January 27th electronically. The irs.gov website said our refund would be deposited feb 9th. We didn't get it. Is the website usually accurate or could their be a problem?

If its not there for the next day...would should get it checked...

You need to give your bank time to update your account - Deposited on the 9th could mean at any time during the day.

i submitted my taxes online and then checked with the irs to make sure that my payment was recieved and that it would take 3 weeks to process. btw when has the government ever made a deadline????

The IRS website estimates when it will send the direct desposit to your BANK, not to you. It could take 3 or 4 more days for your bank to post the deposit. Today is February 8, so don't expect the refund until Monday the 12th.

I received mine this morning. I went to the ATM at 7 am to check my balance and it was in my account.

I also was told I was goint to received my refund 02/09 and there it was this morning.

I was suppose to get mine today too, but it's not there yet. I don't think I will get it today either

There are alot of returns being delayed for and additional 2-4 weeks.

Did you claim EIC? If so, that could be the reason you have not recieved it.
