I am using e-file service eSmartTax.com. Running into a problem with importing Total Education Credits (Line 17) to Form 1040 LIne 50. I heard there was a delay for IRS to accept the e-file of Form 8863. Is the delay still in place? For some reason my figures do not get imported...

Contact the help line for the program you are using. There is a problem with the program, not the IRS
Delays for student loan interest and educator expenses were over as of February 3, 2007. If you're having problems, maybe you should email customer service from the website you are using.
What's with the thumbs-down? There WAS an e-file delay with the IRS for student loan interest and educator expenses that was over on Feb.3.
