Are there any CPA's available?

Question: I'm in college now earning my degree in Accounting. I would like to earn my CPA in three different states. New York, Virginia, and North Carolina. I intend on living in one of the three after obtaining my masters. Are there different guidelines for each state in becoming a CPA?
