Many workers of my factory are continually late, productivity is low. What i should do as human resour ce coffic

Question:
As a human resource office i have identifies a problem with staff retention on one of the department of our organisation. Many workers are continually late to work, productivity is low and some employees are demanding to be treated in caring and considerable manner. I have write a memo to the human resource manager advising him of possible solutions for these problem. Please help me to do so?

Answer:
Workers that don't produce in a factory setting usually do not have jobs very long. I know becuase I worked in one. We all want to be treated right, but to do so means we have to act right..

Management needs to put their foot down and demand that workers respect their jobs by attendance and production.

I would begin to document tardiness, and poor work. Workers should be reviewed annually. Those that do not score well would be put on probation. Continued poor attendance or work production would then lead to termination.

Everthing needs to be documented. This is usually not a one man show, it needs to come from the top down, not the bottom up. All you can do is let them know you are not happy and it is up to them to set the standards for the business.

Just be a good example, work hard, show up on time and take pride in doing a good job.
