Parental Controls Software?

Question:

I am the VP of Development for www.WebWatcherKids.com and on a mission to not just sell software. We are building an educational site for parents to learn about dangers of the internet and would like any input as to what you would like to see included. Although the software is fantastic, I really wonder (as a parent) just how many people would use it...

When I first started with this company, I tested it on one of my computers here and found information about an affair my wife was having- (that's another story). Long story short though, it saved my marriage, but I wonder how others might react faced with hard evidence like I was. Worries me that we could be causing more harm than good, and I want to make the resources available to deal correctly with situation rather than take violent action.

Same would apply to children, spouses and employees- head us in the right direction?

are you asking a question about your software or about social engeneering? today's children (let's arbitrarily set this age at under 25yrs.) have been enveloped in the computer/mass data distribution environment all their lives. parental controlls can be behavior modifiers (at home) but how much can you control vs. how do you know what's good for your kids (or anyone else, for that matter.)? all these things are becoming less distinct, the lines of good and bad less certain.
