Bored 40 yr old sales & mrktg exec. wants to chase a dream and work in auto/racing field. Help?

Question:

I am dead serious about this. I have a degree in economics, 10 plus years experience in the brokerage business. Seven years working for a couple of marketing companies. What really makes me tick is cars. It doesn't matter if they are old, new, fast, slow or ugly I love them all. I am at the stage in my life where I need a change and want to do something that I am passionate about. I don't want to go to the dealer side of the business but will look at anything else. My core skill set consists of relationship management, sales, project management and marketing. My resume is very good with great work experiences and terrific references. How do I chase my dreams can anyone help?

Move down here and we start a business -- I suck at management and sales but I can build/cast/mold paint and modify any component of a custom car.
