Accountants- I need your advice on this one please??

Question:
I saw this ad in our local paper, and it is for a pt gig.

Accounting/Bookkeeper Seeking PT Bookkeeper - Responsible for Financial Reporting, Management of AP/AR. Other Duties include Reconciling, Prelim. P&L updates, GL Closing, Revenue and Expense Forecasting for Gen. Contracting Company. Strong Comm. Skills. Team Player a Must. Fax resume

Is this an accountant position that requires a cpa?? Thanks

Answer:
No it does not require a CPA, but do you have experience in these fields? Cause by the looks of it you will have full charge of the accounting side of the business, so you will need at least 3-5 years of experience. I don't know the size of the business, but it seems like a lot of responsibilities for a P/T gig. Specially the AP/AR side. So just by looking at it I would say that it is going to be a challenging position!
No, it's a part time bookkeeper position, real basic.
Sorry to disagree with your other answer. This is more than a basic bookkeeping position. But it shouldn't require a CPA. Unless you're somewhat familiar in all areas, I'd shy away from it. The word "responsible" means just that. You need to be experienced.
