I am in Human Resources field. Human Resources can be divided into few catogories which are Training and Development, Recruitment, Staff Welfare and Compensation and Benefits. Each categories have its own job scope.
For recruitment you may conduct an interview through an interview process. Recruitment job scope must have some physcology skill to analyze interviewee response. You must analyze an interviewee past experience and highest qualififcation to in order to match your company salary range depending on the position applied. That means you have to select the most suitable person who can match your company requirement and job scope.
Training and Development what you need to do are analyse and planning through training development process such as training analysis. You are required to analyze every employee performance appraisal in order whether should the company sent them for training to improve their performance. You also need choose the training methods; example in house trainer, outsource trainer or course training centre.
Staffwell fare duties are planning and organizing an events for all the employee. Examples; dinner and dance, incentive trip, company function, family day, soccer match, christmas party and etc.
Compensation and Benefits job duties are plan, create and analyze the benefit company policy for every employees in your company. Examples, childcare leave, dental and medical, annual leave entitlement, hospitalisation leave, exam leave and etc.
Human Resources is a job need to create an company policy based on different country employee law act and make sure every employee in your company follow and not breach the company policy. I can say that the salary range are depends on different company, different countries and different position. In Singapore, junior level as an Assistant Human Resources. starting pay is 1,500.00. Human Resources Executive, starting pay is S$2,200.00. I can only provide you the salary range of Singapore cause I am Singaporean.
